This week’s episode features Bill Krackomberger, Jon Orlando, and Larry Collmus. Larry Collmus is a legendary race caller who also serves as the chief race caller on NBC Sports’ coverage the Triple Crown, and Breeder’s Cup. He was probably the one that called Rich Strike’s victory at the Derby.

Tiger’s back! To compete, he’ll hit the links at the PGA Championship. Who will be missing? Phil Mickelson. It’s all drama about Phil Mickelson and Jon.

I’m certain inflation was on everyone’s minds. Is it affecting Las Vegas? Jon and Bill think that there is a little immunity in Sin City.

Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods will play in his second tournament of the season. He is trying to win the PGA Championship. Woods finished at T -47 the Masters his last round of golf.

He started strongly, but an 78 on Saturday and Sunday sank him.

While Tiger is making steady progress, Phil Mickelson has not. Bill said, “I don’t really like Phil Mickelson.” He said, “If you had more information about Phil than Tiger… there’s a few stories there .”

Larry Collmus was on the show to talk about horse racing. He had some amazing stories, including his call of the 18! first race.

Larry recently called the Kentucky Derby, and made an amazing call that Jon and Bill noticed. Jon said, “Chills again.” That was amazing. That [The Kentucky Derby call],” was said by Bill is amazing.

Larry has a lot to learn from his calls.

As a racecaller you are always thinking ‘I can do better’ and ‘I wish I had picked up the horse sooner’. You do your best, however, to get as many details as you can.

With Rich Strike’s huge victory fresh in everyone’s minds Larry said that horses often move on the outside when they are on the inside.
